Bruins Sign David Pastrnak to Eight-Year, $90 Million Extension

Deal Keeps Star Forward in Boston Through 2030-31 Season

Pastrnak Led Bruins to Game 7 OT Victory Over Leafs in First Round

BOSTON -- The Boston Bruins have signed forward David Pastrnak to an eight-year contract extension that will pay him $90 million, the team announced on Monday.

The deal will keep Pastrnak in Boston through the 2030-31 season and carries an average annual value of $11.25 million. The 26-year-old Czech winger is coming off a career-best season in which he scored 40 goals and added 39 assists in 72 games.

Pastrnak played a key role in the Bruins' run to the second round of the playoffs, scoring the game-winning goal in Game 7 of their first-round series against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Bruins have now locked up their top three forwards, with Pastrnak joining Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron as long-term pieces of the team's core.
